We have all seen celebrities flaunt their powerful cars around, but what shocked us is the fact that some of them don’t even have a license!
It sounds a bit redundant to have several garages full of expensive, powerful vehicles but not be able to drive any of them, but it seems like more and more celebrities these days end up going down this path.
While we have gotten used to seeing celebrities drive their fast cars around (and even get arrested because they broke the speed limits), it is hard to imagine that some of the biggest celebrities today have cars that could cover several mortgages and they cannot get behind the wheel.
Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing bad about not being able to drive! However, when it seems like everyone and their mom drives around, it is peculiar that people with so many cars don’t have a license!

Cardi B
When it comes to flaunting their cars and making sure everyone knows about her wildly priced vehicle, Cardi B seems to be at the top of the food chain.
The rapper is no stranger to posing with her luxury car collection and posting these pics all over social media, but the kicker is that she cannot take any of the impressive cars out for a spin.
She does not have a driver’s license, and while she did say she was taking lessons at one point, it seems like there is no proof that she has kept up with the practice or that she took the test to be able to drive any of her cars.
The reality seems to be that she spends six figures on all the cars she has in the garage just so she can have something to pose with, at times flaunting that she can pay in cash for such cars on her Instagram stories. She posted the receipt for her Lamborghini Urus to “silence the haters”!
However, despite her not having a license, she has expressed the intention to have one so she can end up driving her impressive collection at one point or another.
Besides the Lamborghini Urus we have mentioned earlier, she also owns or owned at one point a Lamborghini Aventador S and several other Lambos, a Chevrolet Suburban, a custom Rolls-Royce, a Fiat 124 Spider, a Bentley Bentayga, and a Mercedes-Maybach S-class.
These are just some of the luxury vehicles in the quirky rapper’s collection that leave most car enthusiasts in awe. We can only hope she gets to drive them at one point with a brand-new license!
Ricky Gervais
Ricky Gervais is worldwide known for this acting and comedy, and he was actually considered to be a contender as a new host for Top Gear since they thought he would fit in right in easily.
However, the comedian has to reject the offer and motivated it by saying that it would be hard for him to host a show about cars when he didn’t have his driver’s license.
As much as we think he would have fit right in the British car show, it is a surprise to know the Office actor does not know how to drive, given that he is seen in numerous movies and shows driving a car.
In reality, since he cannot drive, when filming, production uses a trailer when he needs to be seen driving, and like many other celebrities, he is being driven around by a chauffeur.
It is unknown generally which types of cars he has; thought he does have a number of luxurious ones, but he unfortunately cannot drive any of them.
A decade ago, he ended up being the celebrity endorsement for Audit A3, and it is said he got one as part of his compensation for his role in the advertisement.
Most probably, the car ended up with his wife, who does have a license.
Tina Fey
Known for her amazing performances in 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live, Tina Fey is one of the most popular people on our list, and while she has a license, it may be like it has never existed.
Like most New Yorkers out there, she has left her license to expire, and word on the street is that she has not renewed it. If anything, some people speculate that since so much time has passed, she may have lost her touch when it comes to driving altogether.
The rumor of forgetting also comes since Fey admitted in a show that once she was filming a commercial and forgot to shift the car she was in to park, which almost ended up causing a ton of issues on the set.
While she does not seem to be driving all that much (or at all), it seems like there may be a silver lining for her license, as in the pandemic she did admit on a show that she bought a car.
And while most people end up getting million-dollar cars, she ended up choosing something that is safe and that she believes looks “like a medical sneaker.” Tina Fey got herself a Subaru Forester!
We just hope she dusted off the license with a couple of driving lessons before getting behind that wheel!
Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez’s story is similar to the one of Tina Fey, as she has not been driven in over twenty years, and it seems like the actress-singer has no intention of starting again soon!
In the end, we cannot blame her, as it seems as if she has gotten into the habit of being driven around, and given her wealth, she probably has a chauffeur. Yet, even so, it does not mean that she is not the owner of cars or that she does not have some expensive vehicles in the garage.
Back in 2019, she received as a present for her 50th birthday a red Porsche reported to cost almost $140,000 from Alex Rodriguez.
While it seemed like her interest in driving has been revived, she has not been seen driving ever since getting the car.
And while the Porche may seem like a very expensive car to have and not to drive, wait to hear about the rest of Jennifer Lopez’s car collection.
It seems like her car collection includes the likes of a Fiat Abarth, a Bentley Continental GTC, a Ferrari 488 GTB, a Lamborghini Urus, a Cadillac Escalade, an Aston Martin DB7, and Rolls Royce Phantom, Dawn, and Ghost!

The Grammy-winning singer and winter queen, Mariah Carey, does have a luxury fleet of cars, but yes, she does not drive them herself!
Back in 2009, she was involved in a minor car accident; it seems to have made her swear off driving altogether, as she has since refused to drive. So the singer did have a license but has since probably given up on it as she has only been chauffeured around since.
Cannot say we blame her! However, this has not stopped her from having a number of expensive cars in her collection.
She reportedly owns a Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, a Bentley Continental GT Convertible, a Porsche Cayenne, a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, and, her favorite car by far, a 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom!
