Movies are awesome; there is no debate about that. Of course, some of them are not as brilliant as others, but in my case, I tend to pay attention to the cars in the movies most of the time. And what can I say? For example, the ones from the James Bond franchise are tremendous and kind of jaw-dropping at the same time. I’d sure love to drive one at some point.

1. Delorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future
We begin the list of the best cars in movies and TV shows with the fabulous Delorean DMC-12 from the movie Back to the Future. The three customized DeLorean DMC-12s that appeared in the first “Back to the Future” film probably didn’t come equipped with keypad controls or the crucial flux capacitor right out of the factory, but they did come with those bizarre gull-wing doors. One of these is currently on exhibit at the Los Angeles-based Petersen Automotive Museum.
2. Volkswagen LT 40 from Scooby Doo
Apart from being a classic Volkswagen, of course, the 1978 Volkswagen LT 40 has nothing particularly noteworthy about it, but the paintwork on the Mystery Machine is something to brag about. We would like to unravel secrets about it because of its amazing design, striking colors, and even unique wheels!
3. Pontiac Aztek from Breaking Bad
This TV show was definitely a hit back in the day. And the more I think about it, the more I want to re-watch it! I hope you’re also a fan of Bryan Cranston and you watched it too, and if not, no worries because the year just started and you have plenty of time to begin watching it. Trust me, it’s worth it!
While this Pontian Aztek from 2004 isn’t exactly one of the most beautiful cars in movies and TV shows, the fact that it appeared in Breaking Bad makes it somehow special. Because the Aztek has received so much criticism, we must point out that it was an excellent candidate for Walter White’s TV car.
This car was slammed as a great illustration of partnership and administrative poor judgments and it’s somehow a subconscious representation of something nasty because you know how the situation got berzerk in the end.
4. Plymouth Fury from Christine
This amazing Plymouth is probably one of my favorite cars in movies and TV shows! While you may think that only people and animals can be possessed, well, surprise: cars aren’t an exception either!
Contrary to public opinion and car reviewers, I believe that this Plymouth Fury from 1958 is by far the best one for this horror movie, Christine. Hagerty claims that the Stephen King movie included around 20 different automobiles, one of which sold for almost $200,000 to a collector in 2015.
5. Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from Knight Rider
Vroom, vroom, who remembers David Hasselhoff from the famous TV show Knight Rider that was on air from 1982 to 1986? Then you definitely know what car he used to drive throughout the entire show.
The real star of the program was KITT, a 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am built with artificial intelligence. Even though Hasselhoff’s character, Michael Knight, is an accomplished FLAG agent, his vehicle has consistently saved him from trouble.
I guess this TV show played a huge role in the evolution of technology if, in 1982, people were dreaming about artificial intelligence cars. Oh well!
6. Cadillac Miller-Meteor from Ghostbusters
“Who ya gonna call? Ghostbusters!” If you’re an automotive fan searching for the original “Ghostbusters” Ecto-1, Cadillac is the brand to seek. They manufactured the Miller-Meteor ambulance conversion in 1959, which served as the foundation for the unique vehicle with fins. At three tons in weight and more than twenty feet in length, it was difficult to ignore.
Even worse, the automobile that was utilized for filming broke down on the Brooklyn Bridge, causing traffic jams and landing the production team with a citation from the police.

The best superhero loved by every single child out there couldn’t have a lame car, right? The 1989 Batmobile from Tim Burton’s movies was by far one of the best cars in movies and TV shows! Since this Batmobile was created as a movie automobile rather than a real production vehicle, its unique design is preserved even though its speed—which is limited to 30 miles per hour—isn’t particularly noteworthy.
This specific Batmobile is presently available for purchase at Classic Auto Mall and was included in Tim Burton’s “Batman” films. This is one of the more renowned automobiles out there. Are you dreaming of a super-deadly superhero weapon on wheels? This must be your first choice!
8. Porsche 911 Carrera Targa from Friends
This automobile line made its debut in 1984, following the 911SC’s prosperous career. Although the Carrera and its predecessor had many similar cosmetic features, several modifications made the Carrera unique. The 3.2-liter flat-six engine was bigger, and the timing chain tensioner—which had previously caused problems—was upgraded. With 200 horsepower, the engine could accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in around 5.5 seconds. You may spend $36,500 to $109,500 on Autotrader, depending on the color and condition.
9. Ford Mustang GT500 from Gone in 60 Seconds
This Ford Mustang GT500 is among the most beautiful muscle cars in movies and TV shows. The massive automobile lineup in the 2000 remake of “Gone in 60 Seconds” stunned fans. Which one is the most noticeable? The 1967 Ford Mustang with black stripes (code name: “Eleanor”) must be the one.

Less than 7,000 1967 Chevrolet Impalas were ever made, making it an extremely rare Chevy that had its concept vehicle debut in 1956. The vehicle was equipped with a six-cylinder engine producing 155 horsepower and a V8 engine producing 195 horsepower.
The Impala Dean places its powerful V8 engine just where all other cars do. It is one of the iconic sports vehicles from the 1960s that combines power and elegance. However, the 1967 model that Dean uses in Supernatural is renowned for being larger and more noticeable than previous models.
