If you want to make sure that you will pay the least for the repairs to your car, look for a car that has a long-lasting warranty. Also, remember that one condition to consider is that the repair costs will shift to the automaker.
The kings of warranty coverage in the auto industry on today’s market are Kia, Hyundai, Genesis, and Mitsubishi. Their coverage is fantastic, and most of the time, you will not have to worry too much.
The basic warranty package covers your maintenance costs for five years or 60,000 miles. If you choose powertrain coverage, this one will cover the costs for 10 years or 100,000 miles. A powertrain warranty includes coverage for the engine, gearbox, and other parts that are directly involved in driving a car.
Be aware that a warranty includes repairs for defective or malfunctioning parts. General maintenance expenses are not covered.
