If we were to compare them to gasoline-powered vehicles, electric vehicles require far less maintenance since they have a lot fewer moving components. Spark plugs, timing belts, oil changes, and tune-ups are not necessary for them. These cars have regenerative braking systems. This is different from the classic friction brake system, and it significantly reduces brake wear. This makes electric cars some of the cars that are easiest to maintain.
