With the 2020 model year, Fiat discontinued the 500L wagon. Since the model’s 2014 launch, a streak of success has come to an end.
Shoppers may find the 500L’s eccentric appearance appealing. It also features an easy-to-use infotainment system and plenty of luggage room.
Yet, despite those excellent characteristics, it doesn’t score higher in many categories.
The Fiat 500L has an unsteady ride and poor return mileage. With its stiff plastics and poor build quality, the cabin is a complete letdown.
Furthermore, this Fiat only has a basic rearview camera and optional rear parking sensors—two essential driving aids.
There are many better options on the market, and this is why the Fiat 500L is one of the cars you should never buy secondhand.
